TRANSMISSION OF WARNING MESSAGES TO THE POPULATION USING TERRESTRIAL BROADCASTING T-DAB+
Vladimír WIESER, Bohumil ADAMEC
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):5-10 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.5-10
In the article an analysis of the transfer warning messages by the implementation to the broadcasting of digital standard T-DAB+ is made. The intention of this transfer is to very quickly and comprehensively inform the population about impending emergency. The application of CAP protocol to transfer and encapsulate the warning message is described.
THE RISK OF CONTAMINATION OF THE BIOTIC AND ABIOTIC ENVIRONMENTAL COMPONENTS BY CADMIUM AND LEAD
Jozef VARGA, Nikola BENKOVÁ
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):11-19 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.11-19
The paper discusses the risk of contamination of potentially toxic Pb and Cd elements and their subsequent negative impact on the biotic and abiotic components of the environment. The ability of Pb and Cd to accumulate toxic effects on organisms is confirmed by a series of researches in the fields of biology, medicine, agriculture and other areas of interest. The paper describes the basic occurrence, characteristic, use of Pb, Cd and their specific risks affecting humans, animals but also important natural processes. It is important to ensure sufficient timing of the risk of contamination with these elements in good time.
ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL OF A VIDEO ANALYTICAL TOOL FOR MONITORING NON-STANDARD BEHAVIOR
Ladislav Mariš
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):20-24 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.20-24
Modern video analytics tools focus on automatic evaluation of activities in the scene. In the area of automatic detection of video surveillance systems, there are several tools that deal with the detection of non-standard behaviour. The system design is based on real-time detection of non-standard behaviour of individuals or groups of people using video analysis from security cameras. The aim of proposal is to develop a system that will be able to identify the three most common non-standard activities such as public property damage, personal injury and persecution. It is necessary to collect data and create annotated databases for training and testing...
TESTING OF VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS - VIDEO RECORDERS
ANDREJ VEĽAS, LADISLAV MARIŠ
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):25-33 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.25-33
The increasing number of technological solutions and the availability of surveillance systems encourages the choice of different brands and models of security cameras or their components. For this reason, there is a demand for testing existing solutions. At the Faculty of Security Engineering of the University of Žilina, such testing is carried out, especially within the subject of alarm systems - camera systems and also in the framework of the final work. We point out an example of testing and also describe examples of video records (VCR) testing.
MODIFICATION OF CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING CRITICAL INFORMATION INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Josef BERNÁTEK
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):34-38 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.34-38
The paper defines the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity concerning the critical information infrastructure of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the paper contains an adjustment of the currently set impact and sectoral criteria for determining the elements of critical information infrastructure. In connection with the adaptation of these criteria, measures are proposed to abolish the domain of essential service and incorporate the criteria for identifying essential service information systems into the criteria for identifying critical information infrastructure elements in order to harmonize the current state.
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AS A TOOL TO DETECT A CRISIS IN A COMPANY
Jozef LUKÁČ
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):39-49 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.39-49
The aim of the paper is to use financial analysis methods to determine the financial situation in the company in the context of the corporate crisis. In the context of determining the value of a company, it is also necessary to use financial analysis, which can be used to obtain substantial information about the past, present and future situation of the company in the context of financial stability and development. An important indicator in the financial analysis is monitoring the liquidity of the company, which speaks about the ability to pay the company's liabilities. The turbulent years of 2007 and 2008 on the financial markets brought new experience...
TASKS OF POLICE FORCES IN SLOVAK REPUBLIC DURING TRANSPORT OF FOOTBALL FANS FROM TRAIN STATION TO STADIUM
Michal SZATMÁRI
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):50-57 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.50-57
Organizing sporting events for a particular football match carries a large number of security risks. One of these risks is moving football fans by train to the venue, which is the stadium. In public events of this size, it is important not only to safeguard public order, but also to protect people, not just fans of the two participating teams, but also passers-by, who could be threatened by riots when they encounter fans. Police forces have several departments and units that oversee and contribute with an active approach to increasing the security of this movement. They have a division of tasks and follow a safety plan. This post aims to divide the...
INTEGRATED RESCUE SYSTEM EXERCISES - ARE THE SAME MISTAKES REPEATED?
Jana VIDUNOVÁ, Denisa Charlotte RALBOVSKÁ, Robin ŠÍN
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):58-69 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.58-69
Tactical and sift exercises of the Integrated Rescue System are a part of the preparedness of their employees and members to deal with emergency situations. Eventually, it is needed for Emergency Medical Service providers to prepare for emergencies with mass disabilities. This article aims to map the shortcomings identified in the exercises of the Integrated Rescue System in the Pilsen Region in the years 2015 - 2019, which were pointed out in the evaluation reports, in particular, to the activities of the Emergency Medical Service. This article analysed the exercises of the Integrated Rescue System, in which the Emergency Medical Service of the Pilsen...
ASSESSMENT OF THE CONTEMPORARY STATE OF PROJECT RISK ASSESSMENT IN THE WORLD
Matej MASÁR
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):70-80 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.70-80
Projects must be focused on fulfilling project expectations and setting project objectives. It is necessary to ensure the early identification of project risks. If managers understand and know project risks, they can mitigate them. Project management is a very turbulent part of management and more and more important nowadays. The risk management process is significant for each project. It is necessary to exploit the benefits and minimalize the impact of negative risks. The main objective of the paper is to assess and evaluate the current state of the application of project risk management in companies worldwide based on our global empirical research....
FIRE DYNAMICS IN LARGE-SPACE BUILDING
Romana ERDÉLYIOVÁ, Bohuš LEITNER
Krízový Manažment 2020, 19(1):81-90 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2020.1.81-90
The development of a fire in a large-space fire section differs significantly from the development in a small fire section. In large-space objects, designing structures under the fire load often proceeds through a performance-based approach. Advanced methods can be used in all parts of the design - in predicting the scatter of temperature field, in calculating the heat transfer to the structure and in assessing the mechanical behavior of the structure or its part under the fire load. The prediction of the gas temperature in the fire compartment is crucial for the structure design. The paper is focused on the selection of different fire scenarios in...
