The paper is dealing with alternative materials substituting for a biological tissue in ballistic experiment used both in our country and in the world. The paper limits to plastic characteristics alternative materials and mutual comparison to a real tissue represented by pork meat. The paper presents a theoretical - and - experimental method which we developed and designed for discovering physical and mechanical properties of alternative materials biological tissues, material resulted in a coherent methodology.

Plasterboards represent material that is often used in construction. They can be used for various purposes, such as soffit ceiling, wall and ceiling tiles, and also to increase the fire resistance of constructs. Plasterboards are several species, by area of use. Their comparison in terms of fire can be achieved for example various test methods. There are several tests to evaluate materials. The paper deals mainly test method that monitors loss of weight. Based on executed experiment are compared test results of classical, acoustic, impregnated and fire plasterboards. Implemented of test method is briefly described and are assessed the results of testing.

The paper is focused on the design of the program for the blast effect calculation and assessment of its impact on people and compounds. Program is based on the known mathematical models reflecting the maximum pressure of the explosion. The Detona software contains values of the building components resistance and the human body resistance too. The draft of the DETONA program is designed to simplify and accelerate calculations for assessment of the blast effect.
