CHANGES IN SECURITY MEASURES AT AIRPORTS IN RELATION TO MODUS OPERANDI OF TERRORIST ATTACKS

This article aims to describe, analyze and evaluate current threats to aviation. Civil aviation security is one of the priority areas monitored mainly because it is a chronic long-term target of terrorist attacks. The results part is focused on the evaluation of the terrorist attacks in aviation in the period 1970 - 2015. There are evaluated developments in the number of terrorist attacks, the most common used weapons and the number of successful attacks.
