THREAT OF THE ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS BY THE NATURAL

This article describes electrical transmission systems in the Czech Republic, devices used for the energy transmission and there is analysis possibilities which can cause damage on selected equipments. Every device is assessed and analyzed towards to the most probable climatic phenomenon. Then the situations with the most probable occurrence are selected, described and countermeasures for damage minimalization are determined.
