The text aims to inform about new software applications that support management organization when deciding on ways of managing risk. Descriptions of two applications are presented in this article. The first application creates forecasts of event occurrence in the near future based on past experience of these events. The input parameters include an estimate of the degree of security protection. The app includes a register of events to keep your own overview of events. The second application deals with determining the value of the risk of losing assets under a certain scenario, representing a deliberate event caused by humans. A specific feature of...

DYNAMIC SORPTION CAPACITY OF SMALL PROTECTIVE FILTERS - EFFECT OF ENTRY CONDITIONS

Vlastimil SÝKORA, Čestmír HYLÁK

Krízový Manažment 2019, 18(2):35-42 | DOI: 10.26552/krm.C.2019.2.35-42

The aim of the study was to assess the effects of input parameters on the value of dynamic sorption capacity of small protective filters used in the civil protection of the Czech Republic. Relative humidity, the concentration of the test substance/air mixture, type of a filter, year of manufacture, batch and type of sorbent, were used as the monitored parameters. The measurements were performed using gas-air mixture based on cyclohexane, ammonia and sulphur dioxide. MOF, MOF-2, MOF-4, MOF-5 and MOF-6-M filters were used for the measurements.

The aim of the article is to bring knowledge about the influence of dust properties and other factors on the occurrence and course of the explosion. The article deals with the investigation of the conditions and their impact on the occurrence of an explosion: dust properties, particle size, explosion limit, dust concentration, oxygen concentration limit. In the next section, the article deals with parameters and conditions influencing the course of the explosion. It examines the factors affecting the explosion parameters, thus its actual course of the explosion, its strength and speed. These are: particle size, degree of fineness of material, concentration...
