TASKS OF POLICE FORCES IN SLOVAK REPUBLIC DURING TRANSPORT OF FOOTBALL FANS FROM TRAIN STATION TO STADIUM

Organizing sporting events for a particular football match carries a large number of security risks. One of these risks is moving football fans by train to the venue, which is the stadium. In public events of this size, it is important not only to safeguard public order, but also to protect people, not just fans of the two participating teams, but also passers-by, who could be threatened by riots when they encounter fans. Police forces have several departments and units that oversee and contribute with an active approach to increasing the security of this movement. They have a division of tasks and follow a safety plan. This post aims to divide the roles and activities of police forces.
