SUPPORT FOR ELABORATION OF A SAFETY PLAN OF THE SELECTED RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE ELEMENT

Transport infrastructure is an important element of national infrastructures. All countries should ensure the protection of their critical transport infrastructures, so the aim of this article is to highlight the importance of creating a safety plan, and at the same time to provide a support for its elaboration. The safety plan and its particulars are enshrined in Act No. 45/2011 Coll. On Critical Infrastructure. A safety plan is a strategic document that describes the state of the subject's safety and proposes measures to increase it. It is important for operators to develop a high-quality and comprehensive safety plan to be able to respond appropriately to new threats. These new threats are the result of deepening conflicts. In this respect, Slovakia is a relatively safe country, but it must be prepared for all possible types of threats.
