TESTING OF SELECTED SAFETY EQUIPMENT - WORKING CLOTHES

Protective personal equipment is currently an integral part of the work process. They primarily affect passive safety at the workplace. At present, a large number of protective work tools are used, which are predominantly different in quality only, which is then reflected in the price of total protective equipment. Any personal protective equipment before being placed on the market must undergo a variety of tests. These tests are designed to ensure the quality and suitability of the particular activity to which it was intended and, in particular, to be safe for the user and not cause even greater health damage than if the user did not use it. One of these criteria is the resistance of the material to ignition. The contribution is aimed at detecting the lightness of ignition of vertically placed samples, namely personal protective working trousers. For testing, we chose the test method for detecting the lightness of the vertically positioned samples that we performed according to STN EN ISO 6940.
