IMPACT OF THE MAIDAN REVOLUTION ON CIVILIANS

Author is an officer of the Czech Army but this paper is part of his personal academic research at Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University, where he studies. This article presents author's own research and not official stances of the Czech Ministry of Defense and his conclusions can be different. This paper describes some results of Maidan revolution till nowadays and its impact on civilians in Ukraine. It is analysis which uses mainly information collected by author during his visit of Kiev. The physical impact of the revolution on civilians is very important for making of future possible assistance to them. In addition, a lot of Maidan victims were civilians and this paper tries to answer, why did they lost their life and what their sacrifice have brought to Ukraine in period, when the protection of civilians is one of the most important job of every government during the war.
