SENSITIVE INFORMATION

The term "sensitive information" is used in practice under the legal standards (Law standards) of the Slovak Republic and also in daily language. In the second of these cases it is often the use of the term without deeper knowledge (or without knowledge about background) respectively without deeper understanding. From analysis of laws of the Slovak Republic in this specific area we can find out insufficien t definition of the term "sensitive information". The absence of definition causes problems in the security practice of designation of the relevant information as "sensitive" and consequently during manipulation (operation) with them. The author present the analysis of proper use of the term "sensitive information" and, furthermore author try to establish definition of the term "sensitive information" within the broader context.
