OCHRANA PROTI TERORIZMU

Article explains current security situation in Slovak republic from viewpoint of possible terrorist attack. It explains valid national legislation related to fight against terrorism and newly adopted National action plan (NAP) of fight against terrorism for years 2011-2014, which was accepted by Slovak republic government on its 46th assembly. Increasing of expertise and qualification of employees who participate on securing of tasks in field of fight against terrorism was also included between main tasks of NAP. Faculty of special engineering at University of Zilina belongs to educational institutions that deal with this issue and among its accredited modules is a subject "Protection from improvised explosive systems". This educational activity is explained as form of qualification or re-qualification course in full-time study.
